Obituary for Sarilda in newspaper - probably a Joplin paper:
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarilda Holloman, 77 years old, who died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Thompson, 2202 Connor Avenue, will be held at the South Joplin Christian church at 4 p.m. this afternoon. the services will be in charge of the Rev. Powell Smith. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Holloman had been a resident of Joplin fifty five years. She was a member of the South Joplin Christian church. Besides the daughter, at whose home she died, she is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. May Dotts, Bluejacket, OK; Mrs. M.B. Stewart, 1102 West Ninth street; Mrs. Nell Griffin, 2223 Annie Baxter avenue; and Mrs. Will Ammerman, Heavaner, Ark; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Creech, 2218 May avenue; and Mrs. Mary Byrum of Kansas City; one brother, Robert Hart of Kansas City; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Sarilda and Ira E. Holloman's marriage certificate are included with his Civil War Pension records.
