After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Mississippi at Oxford, and the Memphis Medical College in Memphis, TN receiving his medical degree May 22, 1900. In 1900 Dr. Voyles came to Corinth. Dr. Voyles was a physician and surgeon for the Southern & Mobile Railroad, and practiced medicine in Corinth for 30 years.
