* From Tommy Emmons: "Per an internet post by Harold L. Emmons. About 1974 I had a long conversation with O.O. Emmons in Memphis, TN. He was a son of William E. Emmons and a grandson of Art Emmons who died 1908-1909. O.O. was "born on the TN-MS line in an old log cabin." Art Emmons died at O.O.'s uncle's house.
O.O. has a family chart: Arthur Emmons b. 1832 d. 1908 at Corinth, MS. Parents: Elijah Emmons and Tabith or Nancy?. Children: 1. William E. 1866, died April 1949 Corinth, MS; 2. Jane; 3. Ella; 4. Tom died 1954? at Corinth.
O.O.'s father lived at Meridian, MS and was in the furniture business, died 25 years ago. Mother died in 1954."
