Documentation:
Both are buried at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Union County, Mississippi.
I have a picture of the Chunns believed to have been taken in 1908 when
the family had a reunion.  The Chunns always had reunions during the late
summer or early fall.
>From "The Chunn Clan", "Nancy Jane Bryant Owens, Newton's niece, said
"Uncle Newt" led the singing every Sunday at Zion Hill Baptist Church
when she was a girl.  He liked to song "Free Waters" and they sang it
almost every Sunday. She said when she was a young girl she would look at
"Uncle Newt" as he was leading the singing and could "just see the
goodness in his eyes".  She said he was the serious type, but Uncle
Thomas was a big joker."
