He interviewed family members and visited Bear Creek Cemetery and the Old Crystal Springs Cemetery. My great-aunt Pearl took his information in the 1950s and compiled a booklet entitled, "LEE, BROWN, BROOME, FORD." My father, Cecil G. Ford, continued the research in the 1960s and 1970s by visiting relatives and keeping records of marriages, births, and deaths. I took up the cause in the 1970s and have continuously worked on my family lines.
