Note from Vicki: However, I've found much of his information to be
inaccurate.  I've changed a number of the dates from checking the
Prentiss Co., MS cemetery book.  And, I've added locations of graves from
the cemetery book as well.  I'm sure there are many other mistakes.  This
is not my direct line so I haven't really worked on it.
Family Bible states her date of birth as October 15, 1861.
According to Ed and Willa Voyles: Emily Elizabeth grew up in the
Jacinto/Farmington, MS community.  She went to Jacinto Finishing School.
There is where she met George W. Floyd.  He was also going to Jacinto at
the same time.  They got their teaching licenses and got married in 1888.
They both taught school the first year, but by the next year, she has a
baby girl, Sallie.  George told her he would make the living and she
could keep house.
