 Documentation: LEONARD LAMB,  was born on 3 March 1795 in Ma.,? and
died 11 November 1875 in Fairmont, West Va. Leonard married
Mary Donaldson, who was born on 20 April 1800, and died
on 11 April 1875 in Fairmont West Virginia.
Leonard Lamb, through a document at the Church of Latter Day Saints, as a
marriage to Mary Donaldson on 13 February 1818.  Mary's father was James
Donaldson, born abt. 1766 in Virgina.  Mary's mother was Verlinda Linna
Robey born in 1760, in Virginia,  died in 1847 and is buried at Cheat
Neck, Union District, Monongalia Co. Va.
It has been thought that Leonard LAMB's father could be
SYLVANUS LAMB,  born abt. 29 Nov. 1773 in Douglas, Worchester Co. Mass.,
son of  Samuel LAMB, mother Orpha (LEONARD) HALL, of Promfret Conn.
In the 1790 United States Census a Sylvanus Lamb is listed in the town of
Oxford Mass., with two white males sixteen years and up including head of
household, three white males under sixteen years of age and four white
females including head of family.
In the 1820-1830  & 1840 US Census has Sylvanus LAMB residing  in Short
Creek, Township, Harrison Co. Ohio where in 1819 he  married Isabella
WHITE, daughter of Samuel WHITE.
