Stephens and Roxanna Burgess Stephens. James was married twice.
His second wife was Elizabeth Ford. They lived in Montgomery County, 
Maryland. James mother died at his home in Germantown, Maryland 1895 
was was buried in Union cemetary in Loudoun, Va.
