Raphael "Rafe" Alexander Middleton: 

Marriage: Information at the FHL states that Raphael and Emily were married in 
Washington D.C. I have found no proof of that. 

Raphael "Rafe" was Christened on July 12, 1832 at the St. Mary's Catholic 
Church, Bryantown, Charles Co., and St. Mary's was also Emily's family church. 
So I suspect they may have married there, not in Washington D.C. 

Christened: 12 Jul 1832 St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryantown, Charles Co., MD.,

On the death of his father "RAFE" was devised a 280 acre portion of the old 
estate "Holly Cut", in Bryantown, Charles Co., MD.

Emily Teresa Boone: 

Second Marriage: Emily married after the death of Raphael, John Marine Burch, 
the son of Jeremiah Walter Burch and Maria Dorothy Hughes of Charles Co., MD. J. 
Marine was born 17 Feb 1837, in Charles Co., MD., and died 12 Sep 1925 in 
Charles Co., MD. 

Children of Emily Boone and J. Marine Burch: 

Claudine Louise Burch, Claudine married Samuel Alexander Mudd, Jr., son of Dr. 
Samuel Alexander Mudd. Dr. Samuel A. Mudd is the doctor that set the ankle of 
John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated President Lincoln.
