Judson Coolidge, in his Will 1784 devises plantation called Strawberry Hill, with adjoining land purchased from Thomas Clagett and David Craufurd, to his son Samuel [a minor]. Parents: Across the Years in Prince George's Co., by Effied Bowie she states that John Hepburn and his wife Mary are the parents of Mary Hepburn, but this is incorrect. Her father is Samuel Chew Hepburn and mother is Jean Muir.
