  NOTES:

  Arthur and Ora were not married until two years after Freda’s birth. (This is the second time he’s
  lived with a woman without benefit of marriage.)  The 1930 US census (6) shows Freda (age: 15)
  and Norman (age: 10) listed as ‘Boarder’s with Josiah Bailey. That means that their mother, Ora,
  sent them elsewhere to live after Arthur’s death in 1926. She remarried in 1932. (8)

  The 1920 census (9) shows Arthur, Ora, Freda, Norman and Ralph living together. Norman was
  living with Ralph and Catherine Pushor in Lowell, MA in 1941. (12)
