NOTES: 
Esther did marry, but late in life, and had no children.
 
No idea as to why family Bibles indicate that Robert's surname was CRISWELL
... but family tradition is that [for an unknown reason] he did change his name 
to HERRINGTON.  Leaning towards his using his mother's maiden name...
His death certificate reads:  Robert HARRINGTON.  No one bothered to correct.
His, and his daughter signatures, all read as.... H-E-R-R-I-N-G-T-O-N.
 
1900 Census, reads dob 25 Mar 1857, "TX, TX, TX",
     which I believe to be the most correct... since Sophie answered questions
1910 Census, reads dob 25 Mar 1854, "KY, KY, KY", error caused by Esther
1920 Census, reads dob 25 Mar 1854, "KY, KY, KY", error caused by Esther
 
Found several CRISWELL males in Church Baptismal records in Vermilion Parish
.... presently trying to follow-up on these, and one was named Robert CRISWELL.
