Jesse Durham and wife Sarah moved from Knox Co., Kentucky sometime after the 1840 census and before Marinda was born in 1841. At one time Sarah JACKSON DURHAM's tombstone was readable in the Mt. Zion Cemetery as I have a photo, but on a recent trip to the cemetery the stone is no longer there. Sarah's maiden name was found on at least two of her children's death certificates. .
