See William E. Henry III narrative and page 1084 of History of McLean

There are some apparent discrepancies. His birth is listed as
14 OCT 1841. In
1893 he bought 830 acres in Jasper Co IA and sold this land in 1899
according
to Jasper Co IA land records in the Jasper County Recorder's office.
According
to the History of McLean Co, after their marriage they settled in Danvers

and farmed there until 1878 when they moved to Anchor Twp. They owned
land in
Anchor and Martin Twps.

He and Elizabeth were married at the home of his brother William and
his wife
Caroline at Anchor, IL. Dorwin's death record shows that he had a
Perinephretic abcess; Dr. F C Hull. Dorwin was called "Dow".
His uncle was
Dow Beeler, brother of Mary Beeler. Perhaps "Dow" was a nickname for
"Dorwin"?
