Adam is listed on the passenger list as "Adolph Gleismann". He sailed with his wife Maryanna and children Bert, Bax and Martha. Marianna's brother Josef Albrecht also sailed with him. Adam became a naturalized citizen through the Lucas County,Ohio court system on October 13, 1896. The naturalization papers list his name as Adolph Glesmer.
