All group sheets belong to the submitter. We only post them
online for you. We do not give them to anyone else to use.
1. Please DO NOT send attachments without
prior notice. They will be deleted and your group sheet will not get posted.
2. DO NOT include living persons. In place
of their name put the word LIVING and do not include any other information
on them. If it appears that they are still living,
all their information will be deleted. If you know they are deceased,
but do not have a death date, put the words "deceased date unknown" in
place of the date. If it is left blank I can only presume they are living.
3. You MUST show the connection the head
of household of the group sheet has with the US. Example: John Smith's
grandson migrated to the US in 1843.
4. Do not go further back than 2 generations from the person that has
the ties with the US. (This would mean do not go further back than the
grandparents.)
5. Please only submit the main line of the person showing the US ties.
6. You MUST give your name and a contact
address (email OR snail mail). You do not have to give your full name.
A first name or initials will work if you do not want to give your full
name. If you do not give the contact information, your group sheet will
be deleted.
7 . If I find a problem with a group sheet, I will attempt to contact
the sender. If you do not reply, I will not post your group sheet, so please
take the time to contact me and work out the problem. We do not automatically
correct your mistakes for you. Please check your group sheet for typo's
before actually submitting it. If you notice a mistake after it is posted
online, email Bettie
with:
1. The name of the website.
2. The name of the head of household on the group
sheet.
3. The necessary corrections.
Example: International FGS Correction for John
Smith - please change birth date on third child from 1945 to 1845.
