NOTES: William Jasper Payne is buried at Hollywood cemetery in Richmond,
VA.,
where he died with a fatal case of measles. Fleming Caleb and Joseph Joshua

were twins, the former a Baptist minister and the latter a Methodist
minister. Joseph died with typhoid fever.
