April 6, 1831, married Martha Van Whiddon, born January 21, 1829.

   Their children are:

   J. J. Paulk, born April 4, 1853, married Sarah Ann Lott.

   Lucius Paulk, born January 1, 1856, married Elizabeth Vickers and Hester Ann Lee.

   Micajah L. Paulk, born June 7, 1858, married Mary M. Fletcher.

   Manasseh Paulk, born February 29, 1860, married Rebecca McMillan.

   Dan T. Paulk, born April 10, 1864, married Missouri Merritt.

   Teresa Paulk, born December 16, 1868, married Joel L. Wilcox.

   George L. Paulk, born June 7, 1871, married Blansett Sutton.
