NOTES:
Laura Jeffries was listed as a witness to the marriage of John Swept
and Sannie Mae BURTON OGLETREE. According to the census records
Laura would have been 14 years old at the time of the
marriage. Since she is the only Laura JEFFRIES found in the area, it is
believed they are the same person.
