was born March 11, 1843 and married L. L. C. Harper.

   Their children are:

   C. A. J. Harper, born January 26, 1871, married Ada Whitley.

   Margaret Harper, born March 16, 1877, married Kemper Deberry.

   W. J. (Boy) Harper, born March 28, 1879, married Ellen Kirkland.

   Mary V. Harper, born September 29, 1888, married Fred McNeese and J. A. Jowers.

   Christian Harper, born November 29, 1891, married O. E. (Roy) Spicer.

   L. C. Harper, born May 6, 1882, married Annie Kirkland.
