  * Descendants of Edward and Temperance Pittman meet for an annual reunion held on second Sunday in October at 1:00 PM in the Clemons Chapel Methodist Church, Highway 52, in Lula GA.
  * Temperance Believed to be daughter of Jesse Barker, Revolutionary War Soldier, noted in 1820 GA Land Lottery, residing in Jackson Co., GA, and 1820 Federal Census, residing in Gwinnett Co., GA. Edward Pittman is noted as administrator of Jesse Barker's estate in 1830 Hall Co., GA Deed.
  * Melinda Greer Pittman d. 11/25/1841 in child birth in Hall Co., GA
  * Mary Dodd Pittman Parents were Patterson Dodd, son of Jesse Dodd and Else Miller, and Abba Mullin, daughter of John and Martha Mullin.
  * William Dahlonegy "Lon" Pittman Seminole Indian War Pension Record shows William D. Pittman served as a private in Captain Thomas E. Holland's Company, Gainesville Dragoons, Georgia Volunteers, Florida War with Seminole Indians, 1836. Pension Record states he was born in Hall Co., GA. in 1814 and lists Malinda Greer as first wife, died giving birth to his first child 11/24/1841 and Mary Dodd as second wife, noting date and place of their marriage. Record also notes names of his children and birth dates.
  * Feraby A. Pittman Family is believed to have been in Greene Co., GA before settling in White Co., GA.
  * Sarah Pittman Appears that Sarah Pittman never married, as she is recorded in Edward Pittman's household in 1860 Federal Census for Hall Co., GA., where she is enumerated as age 44, weaver, born in GA.
  * Archibald E. Pittman Appears that Archibald Pittman may have an unknown first marriage and that his first three children are from that union or might be Eliza Nicholson's children from a previous marriage.
  * Wiley C. Pittman Served in Company G, 3rd Regiment GA Volunteer Inf. (known as Confederate Light Guards). Wounded and captured at Gettysburg, PA. July 2, 1863.
  * Lucinda Pittman At present, no records have been found on Lucinda Pittman's marriage, possible children or where family settled.
  * Jasper Pressley served in Inf. Bn., Smith's Legion, GA Volunteers and later transferred to Co. K, 65th Reg., GA Infantry. Died at Clinton, TN.
  * Little is known about Stephen Pittman, although it appears he may have died young. He is last noted in Edward Pittman's household in 1860 Federal Census for Hall Co., GA as age 17, born in GA.
