Documentation:
* Francis Marion Ivey was shot while on guard duty in Marietta, Ga. The railroads were blown up, so he was taken to the hospital in Augusta, Ga. by wagon. He either died on the way or shortly after arrival. His wife, Margaret, received word and had someone take her to Augusta to find that they had already buried him. She had them dig him up so she could be sure it was him.

Militia, age not given, Male, died at 2nd-3rd Ward Hospital; Buried on Confederate Block #2, 1st row west, 9th grave south, 1st name listed as "Mariam" in original records book.
