The marriage of Cecil H.Cook and Eula Mae Utley is
recorded in Burke Co. Marriage Records, Dec. 8, 1912, book W9, page 140.
The Cook family, native to Burke County, was tranferred to the Central of
Georgia headquarters, Savannah, Ga., in 1920.
Cecil Hill Cook was a fireman for the Central of Georgia Railroad.  On
the morning of Oct. 18, 1922, his train crashed through a washed-out
trestle near the town of Springhill, Ga.
Cecil H. & Eula Mae Utley Cook are buried in Bonaventure Cemetery,
Savannah, Chatham Co., Ga.
The birth of Eula Mae Utley and that of her daughters, and her grandson,
