Documentation: Robert and his family was first found in Prince Edward Co, VA
Census of 1783 shows him with 12 souls, which would indicate he and Agnes had 10
children at the time. We have been able to verify only 9 at the present time.
there are several records of Robert and his son Jesse in prince Edward Co, VA.
they are not found in P. E. Co, after 1787. Records for William, Robert\'s son,
state the family migrated to Wilkes Co, GA in 1788. (Christian Advocate) Land
and tax records in Wilkes Co. begin to appear in 1790. We have copies of the
Wills of Robert, Jesse and William.
