* The Brown Cemetery is appx. Two miles east of Rutledge on Hightower Road on the old Brown homeplace property. The road is dirt and across from the railroad tracks, next to Hard Labor Creek Estates. The graves are under some trees and are those of Amos, Matilda, Adaline, Eugenia, Joseph Bassett, Fannie Adaline and Burwell Braswell Brown. There are also graves of the Easons, Wades and Perkins Families. See Morgan County courthouse records for exact location.
