* Amos Braselton was born May 15, 1797 in Pendleton District, SC, dies March 19, 1875 in Cherokee County, Ga., buried in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Amos moved to Jackson County Ga. with his parents before 1810. He married Elizabeth McMullen October 21, 1819 in Jackson County and they lived in Hall County prior to 1838. Then they settled in Cherokee County (Woodstock and Hickory Flat areas).
* Elizabeth born May 30, 1803 in SC died July 16, 1867 in Cherokee County and is buried in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
* The tombstones for Amos and Elizabeth are located next to each other. Both of the tombstones have been broken and were hard to read.
