* On Great Grandfather Henry Bluford BLISSIT, we were very lucky in that Great Grandmother Barbara Ann kept and passed on letters that were written during the Civil War between them as well as to and from other relatives. Grannie Ophelia BLISSIT kept them and upon her death my Aunt Cleo RAPE passed down to daughter Elsie. Cousin Elsie graciously shared them with me and my research.
