Documentation:
The following sources are mentioned in my book, "Captain George Barber of Georgia" published in 1975, and now online at

Below, where the Kiefer cemetery is mentioned, that is actually the Twin Mounds Cemetery, in the south west corner of Tulsa County. It is closer to Glenpool than to Kiefer. But much of the Barber family lived near Mounds, which is in Creek county. David Morgan

* Silas Harrison Barber had 12 children by his 1st wife, 4 children by his 2nd wife, who was his first wife's sister. No children by 3rd wife. His first two wives were mixed-blood Creeks, descended from the Berryhill-Deriso-Posey family.
* Allen F. Barber or any descendants were not named in probate records of his father. Not sure that the Allen F. Barber that married Hargraves is of this family, and also not sure if this was the Allen F. Barber that died at Ft.Donelson in 1862 as a confederate soldier.
* Mary F. Barber and Andrew Hickman had no children by 1870 and were living in Polk Co. GA.
