   2. Jesse Grantham, son of Margaret Purvis Grantham and John Grantham, was
born November 5, 1869, and on December 5, 1889, married Christian McMillan.

   Their children are:

   Elizabeth Grantham, born October 2, 1890, married W. W. Watson.

   William Ashley Grantham, born September 13, 1892, married Queenie Tucker.

   John Albert Grantham, born December 13, 1894, married Matilda Harper.

   Wootie Margaret Grantham, born May 27, 1896, married Elisha Tucker.

   Jesse Clayton Grantham, born January 13, 1898.

   Charlie Emmett Grantham, born November 17, 1900, married Vietta Tucker.

   Minnie Lee Grantham, born September 18, 1902, married B. B. Merchant.

   Emma Lillie Grantham, born May 2, 1904, married J. L. Tucker.

   Henry Mitchel Grantham, born February 6, 1906, married Thelma Nugent.

   Robert Virgil Grantham, born March 7, 1908.

   Jesse Clayton Grantham died November 18, 1918.
