   Mahala Henderson, daughter of Nancy Henderson Paulk, was born August 24,
1824, and on September 19, 1841, married James Gibbs, born February 28, 1818.

   Their children are:

   Ellen Gibbs, born May 16, 1844, married Loft Ross and Jacob C. Clements.

   Martha Gibbs, born July 28, 1846, married John Warmack.

   Jacob Gibbs, born July 18, 1847.

   Catherine Gibbs, born July 29, 1850, married W. E. Williams.

    Allen Gibbs, born March 5, 1853, arried Sallie Warren.

   John Gibbs, born November 13, 1865, married Sallie A. Willis.

   James Gibbs, born July 29, 1848, married Mary Warren.

   Jacob Gibbs died in 1870.
