General(15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22): Served in the Confederate Army, unknown
regiment.   The Yankees burned the Dickson plantation during the Civil War
and it had to be rebuilt.

CHILD NOTES: William Solomon DICKSON (1)  CSA
William S. Dickson, David W. Dickson and Johon Dewitt were three of the
subscribing witnesses to the will of John Dickson, son of Thomas and
Priscilla Dickson who died in 1857.  William S. Dickson and David W.
Dickson, among the appointed appraisers of the estate.
Served in Company K., 15th Regiment Georgia Volunteers, C. S. A. Hancock
County, Ga.

David W. Dickson served in Company K, 15th Regiment Georgia Volunteer
Infantry, Hancock Co., Ga.  Private Feb. 24, 1861.  Died in Winder Hospital
at Richmond, VA., Nov. 17, 1862.  Buried there in Hollywood Cemetery.
