General(15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22): Served in the Confederate Army, unknown
regiment. The Yankees burned the Dickson plantation during
the Civil War
and it had to be rebuilt.

William S. Dickson, David W. Dickson and Johon Dewitt were three of
the
subscribing witnesses to the will of John Dickson, son of Thomas and
Priscilla Dickson who died in 1857. William S. Dickson and David
W.
Dickson, among the appointed appraisers of the estate.

County, Ga.
