granted an additional 40 acres in Elbert Co., Ga. It is unclear exactly which of these parcels
constituted Meredith Brown\'s homestead during this period. Meredith Brown Listed on the Franklin Co.,
Ga. 1800 Tax Cencus 2nd District Military: Meredith served in the Revlutionary war from 1779-1781.
He is listed as \"fortunate Drawers\" is several of the Early GA land Lotteries for veterans of the
Revolutuion. Grave is marked Revelutionary War - U. S. Veteran. \"In honor of service NSUSD
