James Paul Prevatt was a farmer. They at one time owned a hundred acre farm near Sanderson, Florida. Mr. Prevatt died of a heart attack in 1955. Mrs. Prevatt lived several years after him and died of cancer in 1975. Mrs. Prevatt was a founding member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church.
