NOTES: 
William Curtis JEFFRIES, was an active member of the Motion Picture 
Operators. He was 
President of the Union in 1951. He was a Member of St. Marks Methodist 
Church in Columbus, Georgia. 
Clara's Mother died when Clara was between the ages of 8 years and 12 
years. She went to live with her grandmother, 
Samantha HAM, until her death in 1916. Clara then lived with her aunt, 
Mattie Lee HAM, called, Aunt Sweet by the family. 
Clara and Curt are buried in Riverdale Cemetery, Columbus, GA
