Marriage Records, Dec. 8, 1912, book W9, page 140. The Cook family, native to Burke County, was tranferred to the Central of Georgia headquarters, Savannah, Ga., in 1920. Cecil Hill Cook was a fireman for the Central of Georgia Railroad. On the morning of Oct. 18, 1922, his train crashed through a washed-out trestle near the town of Springhill, Ga. Cecil H. & Eula Mae Utley Cook are buried in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Chatham Co., Ga.
