NOTES:  Benjamin F. AVERITT enlisted 31 May 1864 in Co., B, Reserve Infantry 
Regiment Florida.  His widow filed for his CSA Pension (#D01091) in 1897 in 
Hamilton Co., FL.  Mary Dorman m. 2) David McClama before 1910 and had at least 
one more child, Lillie L. McClama.  1910 Census shows she had 8 children of 
which 6 were living.  She filed once again for his CSA Pension under the name of 
Mollie Dorman McClammie in 1928 Hillsborough Co., FL.
 
In 1830 Twiggs Co., GA Census there was a James AVERETT and a John AVERETT.  In 
1840 Twiggs Co., GA Census, there was a James AVERET and a Benjamin AVERET.  In 
1850 Census, Benjamin's widow is shown as Mary AVERETT.  Before 1860, the family 
relocated to Hamilton Co., FL and Mary was found as Mary EVERETT in that Census.  
At some point after the move to Hamilton Co., FL, the family name of AVERETT 
changed to AVRIETT.
