Documentation:
I now can confirm that Elizabeth Campbell was the first wife of James
Black and the mother of their son John b. Aug 27, 1759.
She is mentioned as John's mother and as being deceased in an Orphan's
Court doc. A1 pg. 299-300 dated May 25, 1775.
Black  Sussex Co Deed Liber M Book 12 # 356 from John Black to Wm. Wyatt
identifies him as the son of James Campbell's daughter - both deceased.
Also note that John was born before his father married Elizabeth Hood.
Holland Bible It was submitted to the Delaware Archives by a Mrs. Elsie
Robinson.  I do not know when it was submitted or who she was.   Will
