 Documentation: (1)Husband - Ezekiel Sloper death date came from a Cook
family bible showing 3/15/1815. (2) Ecclesiastical and other Sketches of
Southington, Conn. by Rev. Heman R. Timlow, Hartford, 1875. The reprint
of this book was sponsored by the Southington Bicentennial committee. Pg.
ccxxvii, Genealogy of Richard Sloper and his descendants. #27 Ezekiel
Sloper, son of Daniel #18 and Rachel Langdon, his wife, b June 5, 1762,
in Southington; m Mehitabel Barnes, of East Haven, daughter of Isaac
Barnes and his wife, Lois Pardee, born March 30 1777, in East Haven. He
lived on East Street, south of the present residence of David R. Sloper,
on the west of the street,--house still standing. He died of measles,
March 22, 1816, aged 55 yrs. Mehitabel, his widow, married (2) Gideon
Walker. She died Oct. 22, 1842, aged 65. (3) WIFE - Mehitable Barnes.
According to the Cook family bible, Mehitable m 1st Ezekiel Sloper and m
2nd Gideon Walker. It also shows the death date for Mehitable and Ezekiel
Sloper. (4) Harriet Sloper. Married Lewis Cook Nov 20 1834 in
Southington, Hartford Co., Ct.  according to Cook family bible. (5)
Lambert Sloper. Death date found in Cook family bible. (6) Donald Lines
