 Documentation: 1860 Census, Lavaca, Calhoun Cnty, Texas.   Served in the
Confederate Army. Enlisted April 20, 1861 at Lavaca, CAlhoun County,
Texas in the Lavaca Guard Light Infantry, 24th Brigade, Texas State
Troops.  1870 Census, Fort Davis, Presidio Cnty, Texas.  After war, owned
some land in west Texas. 1880 Census, Rockdale, Milam, Texas. Listed as a
Retail grocer - actually propietor of the Boss Saloon. Licensed to sell
liquor. Died of Bright's disease.    After his death, Gabriella moved to
Dallas, Texas and lived near her brother Ludwig Philipson.  1900 Census
Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas  (Gabreilla Goldsticker). By 1910 had moved to
Denver to live with her daughter Minnie and her husband, Abram Heitler.
