 Documentation: Bibles from the family of John D. Biggs and Jacquelina
King  provide some of the dates, as does a biography of John D. Biggs
in
a San Luis Obispo book, "History of SLO & Environs" (1917).  The 1888
Cherokee Citizenship case of Dica Llewellyn includes depositions that
identify Martha Biggs as the daughter of Lucretia Parris.  Cherokee
Old
Settler Rolls, Jacquelina King's Citizenship case in the Cherokee
Nation,
family letters, tombstones, obituaries and census records provide the
other indications.  The Memoirs of Narcissa Chisholm Owens also
identifies Martha and David Biggs.  Oral family history has also
helped
to identified various people. .
