Documentation: Col. Earl J. Rogers, Muldrow, entered active duty at
Oklahoma City, November 25, 1939 and served in California, Washington state,
Alaska and Fort Bliss. He now holds the good conduct medal, the Asiatic Pacific
ribbon and the American defense ribbon with bronze star; Geneva: Rootsweb SSDI
and SAllisaw - Geneva L. Rogers, 83 of Sallisaw died SAturday, April 7, 2001 in
Sallisaw. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Blunt Baptist Church and
recently attended Badger Lee Baptist Church, both near Sallisaw. She was the
widow of Earl Rogers. Funeral will be 2 pm Wednesday in Agent Funeral Home
Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Drakestand Cemetery west of SAllisaw. She is
survived by 2 daughters, VElma Boyd of Sallisaw and Cristene Bordelon og
LaPlaca, LA; 5 sons, Vearl Dean Rogers, Wilburn Rogers, Garlen Rogers and Hubert
Dale Rogers all of Sallisaw and Roy Wayne Rogers of Mount Judia, 2 half sisters,
Pat Fargo and Betty Ward, a brother, the Rev. Elbert Taylor of Sallisaw and 3
half Brothers, Merle Gene Taylor, Franklin Taylor and Jerry Taylor, 19
