John W. WELDON
Occupation:  John was a farmer.

John was shot and killed by John White a man he had arrested for
stealing his pig.
John is listed on the 1860 US census of Pulaski County, Ar. as John
Welden Maumelle Township Page 170 dwelling 42. It is thought both John's
are the same. John's headstone was replaced May 1988.

Margaret A. MULLIGAN
Her rock marker was removed and replaced by a headstone in May 1988.

CHILD 1 Samuel Jefferson "Sam J" WELDON
Occupation:  Sam was a farmer.

Sam could neither read nor write and thought very little of education.

CHILD 2 George Washington WELDON
Occupation:  George was a farmer also an unpaid grave digger for the
Havana, Ar. community.

George adopted the son, Sigal Farris, of his wife's sister after she
died. Sigal was three months old. They were living in Coalgate, OK. at
this time.

CHILD 3 Susan E. WELDON
 On the 1900 US census of Yell County, Ar. Susan and her family lived in
Greenville Township
on the 1910 US Census of Yell County, Ar. two of her daughters are
living with her husband brother
and one is living with her brother.  I've been able to find no records
of Susan, Noah or the three girls
after this date.

CHILD 4 Mary WELDON
Birth information from 1880 US census of Pulaski County Ar. Roland
Township page 494A.

On the 1900 US census of Yell County Ar. she was living with her mother
Margaret Weldon in Havana, Ar. have no record of her after that.
Information as of Jan. 1989.
