Samuel Henry Sherlock was prolific writer.  Regular contibutor to
Letters to the Editor to Cincinnati Gazette during Civil War.  Was
graduated in law from Jefferson College, Pa.   Practiced law in
Miami County, Iowa until enlisted 94th Ohio Vol. Inf.  Married and
moved to Salem, Dent County, Missouri, worked as attorney, county
attorney and served in MO legislature.  Moved to Fort Smith,
Arkansas and owned abstract office until health failed
