NOTES:  Simpson PEARCE was captured by the United States Army and held as a 
POW for most of the war. 
Rebecca (--?--) GOREE came with the PEARCE family when they moved 
north to Arkansas from Louisiana 
Twins run in this family. Simpson PEARCE had a twin named John, he 
had twin children John and Mary, and eldest daughter Ellen had twins 
Emma Beatrice and Oscar Rollon NALL.
