NOTES:  The MORRISON's left their native Scotland around 1700 and
immigratedto Northern Ireland. About 1730, the family came to
America, settling firstin Lancaster County, PA. About 1745 they
moved to Rowan County,NC.By the late 1800's they had, for the most
part, settled in Gibson County,TN.
