from Henry (Dick) Pond to his father Ebenezer Pond, Judge of Coosa Co.,
AL. This letter can be found in the "Ebenezer Pond collection". Henry
Pond wrote the following after the battle of Chancellorsville, VA.: "Our
loss in killed was light, but many were wounded. Our Co. had but one
killed dead on the field, who was Thomas Dunlap, son of W. O. Dunlap"

Lavinia to be Tullis.
