Additional Comments:
publication called Once Upon A Time-- A History of Emory Chapel Community,
Chambers County, Alabama 1832-1976 by David Michael Hall; Marriage Book
A: COPELAN(D), Alphins F. & FEARS, Susanah F. 25 OCT 1838 Chambers Co. AL; Had 8
known children. Anyone with more information on Alpheus Copeland's brothers &
sisters, it would be much appreciated. Some of them lived in Pike County, AL.
It is thought that both Alpheus and his brother Simeon moved to Pike County AL
in 1857, but he apparently returned with his family to Chambers County. Would
appreciate clarification if anyone knows the real story. Alternate data: some
thought Susanah "Susie Anna" was born 16 Jan 1821 in Randolph County, AL. Needs
more research. Census records; cemetery records NOTE: Needs further research,
Polly Ballard may have been Samuel Fears second wife and not the mother of his
older children. Would appreciate any confirmation or corrections.
