Note:  The long-hand arithmetic book authored by William Pitt Robertson, Sr. gives some
clues that lead me to believe he, too, lived in Alabama, perhaps near his son.  The notes say "WP Robertson
left Alabama in 1857" but we don't know where he went.  WPR Jr. is found in Pickens County, Alabama in
1840 & 1850, Fayette County, Alabama in 1860; and finally, in Sanford (now Lamar) County, Alabama in 1870.
