Additional Comments:
This Lee family settled in the Sykes/Ridgegrove area of Chambers County as early
as 1840. Elijah migrated from SC to Greene County, GA. where he married Melinda
Phillips. Elijah fought in the Indian Wars of 1812 and was probably given a
bounty land claim # 16159. The 3 families listed are buried at the Old Harmony
Methodiast Church in marked graves.
